sick day
The little one is ill. She can't hold any food down and can barely summon the strength to whimper and clutch at our legs whenever we set her down. There is nothing worse than watching someone you love in pain.

I hope she feels better soon!
It kills me to see my kids sick. My 6 yr. old had the flu last year and wouldn't eat. I knew it was bad when I was literally begging him to eat ice cream!
On the other hand, they are amazingly resilient. Remember, they're designed to be raised by idiots.
That being said, I agree with you. It's especially hard when they're so young, and aren't sure what's going on, and you can't make it all better with a kiss.
Get better soon, little one.

She'll learn from this illness and be stronger but that's little consolation now I reckon.
