screensaver

Am I the only one who thinks it's creepy to have a screensaver of missing children? Maybe seeing kids' faces on the back of a milk carton while you're eating breakfast isn't exactly pleasant, either. The intentions are good, but I still think this whole idea is a little twisted.

Yeah, it is kind of creepy. My screensaver is usually a positive thing, like nice sunsets, beach scenes, and beautiful women. That's just creepy. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for finding missing children, but come on.

Makes my serial killer prison escapee's screensaver look positively normal.

I never heard of that and it doesn't seem to make much sense. I have no screensaver because it' usually only on when I'm not looking at my screen, so what good is it anyway?

Maybe this would be something for Google Ads. They allow to show ads for nonprofit or charity organizations. Maybe they could provide a new ad channel for missing children? That would put the screen real estate to some good use, wouldn't it?
