My former (not yet) school district won't let me out of the contract, at least not anytime soon. Dammit.

Do you have a union? You can ge out of a contract in PA by claiming that the emotional stress of the job is causing you harm.

Why would any school (or organization for that matter) want a person who didn't want to be there? Short sighted on their part. Hope it works out.
Is there anything else you can do to appeal? I sure hope that things work out for you J!!! We are pulling for you from MN.

Unfortunately for teachers, getting fired pretty much means you never work again.
