garden of zen

Hmm, is that a technical term? It's a beautiful little patch of manicured zen sand gardens (at the time we were there, dappled with falling bright yellow leaves), wedged between a labyrinth of bonzai trees and a steep stone staircase that leads down to a beautiful half-moon bridge. The back road down for those with bad knees or riding on wheels weaves through a forest of bamboo right up to a traditional Japanese tea house. So, yeah, it's pretty serene.

and those pebbles fly in such beautiful arcs when you do donuts on them in your '72 Barracuda.
