is this one of those serenity gardens?
Hmm, is that a technical term? It's a beautiful little patch of manicured zen sand gardens (at the time we were there, dappled with falling bright yellow leaves), wedged between a labyrinth of bonzai trees and a steep stone staircase that leads down to a beautiful half-moon bridge. The back road down for those with bad knees or riding on wheels weaves through a forest of bamboo right up to a traditional Japanese tea house. So, yeah, it's pretty serene.
Just reading your description makes me feel peaceful.
oh wow
and those pebbles fly in such beautiful arcs when you do donuts on them in your '72 Barracuda.
